Bethany Kuwitzky
Assistant Director, Study Abroad
Bethany serves as the Assistant Director of Study Abroad, leading the Study Abroad team and supporting students as they explore international opportunities. A two-time study abroad participant and proud Texas Tech graduate, she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas Tech. Bethany has been part of the Study Abroad Office for 14 years, including 11 years as a professional staff member, and has visited more than 20 countries. Having experienced firsthand the impact of studying abroad, she is passionate about helping students find programs that challenge them, broaden their perspectives, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Kelsea Hobbs
Senior Study Abroad Advisor
Kelsea supports students and faculty participating in Faculty-Led Programs and is passionate about helping students gain meaningful global experiences. Kelsea first studied abroad in Ireland and Northern Ireland in 2019. She later joined a Texas Tech Faculty-Led Program with the College of Media & Communication in 2022, traveling to Manchester, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; and Dublin, Ireland. Kelsea earned a Master’s degree in Mass Communication in May 2023 and enjoys sharing firsthand experience and guidance with students and faculty exploring international opportunities.
