Reading Assignment
Be sure you have read the Introduction and Objectives for this unit. They will help provide a context and direction for the unit.
- Read Chapters 11 and 12.
- Take Notes. Be sure you take both the required notes listed below and then choose your own notes to take. Use the printable checklist if it helps you.

Remember that you can find all of these notes (required and suggested) under the "reading strategies" links for each chapter lesson in the online textbook. (If you have the printed text, you'll find them in the margins under "Taking Notes.") Be sure to watch all of the videos and read all of the instructions in the introduction to this course, as they will help you locate the "reading strategies" links and understand how to complete your notebook. You'll find this information in the Syllabus section.
