RE:  RaiderCanvas Official LMS (OP 30.17) & University Website Standards & Governance OP (68.02) 
 
Texas Tech University Operating Policy (OP) 30.17 establishes RaiderCanvas as the official learning management system for all credit-bearing courses, effective Fall 2026. 
 
Beginning on the first class day, Aug. 24, 2026, faculty must use RaiderCanvas to provide the following for all organized classes of five or more students: 

• A course syllabus meeting Texas Tech and HB 2504 requirements;
• Grades;
• Timely feedback regarding assignments; and
• Attendance tracking for all Texas Tech core classes. 

 
Additionally, the University Website Standards & Governance OP, 68.02, has been revised to establish standards and governance for Texas Tech University affiliated websites. 
 
As noted in both OP’s efforts around accessibility and compliance with state regulations have served as underlying principles.
