Spirit Squads
Texas Tech Spirit Squads represent the university at athletic events, national competitions, campus programs and appearances throughout the community. The Spirit Program includes Texas Tech Cheer, Pom, Raider Red and the Masked Rider.

Meet the Spirit Squads
Cheer
Texas Tech Cheer supports Red Raider athletics, competes nationally and represents the university at campus and community events.
Pom Squad
Texas Tech Pom combines collegiate dance, game-day performance and national competition while representing Texas Tech throughout the year.
Raider Red
Texas Tech's costumed mascot brings Red Raider spirit to athletic events, university programs and appearances throughout the community.
Masked Rider
Texas Tech's official mounted mascot is one of the university's most recognizable traditions and serves as a year-round university ambassador.

Clinics & Training

Request an Appearance
Bring Texas Tech spirit to your event. Cheer, Pom, Raider Red and the Masked Rider participate in approved university and community appearances throughout the year. Visiting collegiate spirit squads can also submit game-day information through the appearance page.
