Texas Tech Spirit Squads host clinics throughout the year for participants interested in developing their skills and learning more about collegiate cheer and dance. Current clinic opportunities and registration information are posted below as they become available.

2026 Pom Squad Fall Training Clinics

Sunday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026

The Texas Tech Pom Squad will host two Fall Training Clinics for dancers interested in experiencing the collegiate dance team environment and learning more about the Texas Tech Pom Squad.

Designed for high school dancers, the clinics provide advanced training in technique, game-day style and choreography while giving prospective recruits an opportunity to work directly with Texas Tech Pom Squad coaches and current team members.

The clinics are especially relevant for prospective recruits in the classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029, but are open to eligible dancers in grades 9-12 and above for the 2026-27 academic year.

Each clinic will be led by Texas Tech Pom Squad coaches and current team members with additional instruction from master instructors. Participants will train at an advanced level and gain insight into the expectations of a collegiate dance program.

Cheer Clinics

The Texas Tech Cheer Program hosts clinics throughout the year for individuals interested in collegiate cheer. Clinic opportunities may include college prep, All-Girl, CoEd, elite stunt and Junior Spirit sessions.

Clinic Registration

Cheer clinic registration may close when a clinic reaches capacity. Eligibility, fees, attire, location and registration instructions will be provided with each clinic announcement.
