Texas Tech Pom Squad Clinics

The Texas Tech Pom Squad hosts training clinics throughout the year for dancers interested in experiencing the collegiate dance team environment and learning more about the Texas Tech Spirit Program.

Pom Squad Clinic Details

Each clinic will be led by Texas Tech Pom Squad coaches and current team members with additional instruction from master instructors. Participants will train at an advanced level and gain insight into the expectations of a collegiate dance program.

• Dates: Sunday, Oct. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026
• Time: 8:30 a.m.-noon
• Registration: Begins at 8 a.m.
• Eligibility: Grades 9-12 and above for the 2026-2027 academic year. Prospective recruits in the classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029 are highly encouraged to attend.
• Training level: Advanced
• Registration fees: $110
• Spectators: Spectators are not permitted during the clinic because of space limitations.

Clinic instructions may include technique, game-day material, hip-hop, Pom choreography and an optional improvisation session.

Awards may include class standout recognition and scholarships for the 2026 Summer Intensive.

• 11-11:30 a.m. - Pom lessons with members and coaches of the Texas Tech Pom Squad
• 11:30 a.m.-noon - Optional 4x8 improvisation
• Noon - Closing and awards
