Available Spaces
The Student Enrichment Center offers flexible meeting and activity spaces for eligible Texas Tech students, organizations, faculty and staff. Review the spaces below to find a room and configuration that fits your group, meeting or activity.
Room availability is subject to existing reservations and Student Enrichment Center operating needs. Capacities may vary depending on the requested room configuration.

Multipurpose Space

Capacity: 1
Features: HDMI and USB connections, phone, desktop computer and laptop.
Lounge Space
The Lounge Space can accommodate several seating arrangements depending on the size and needs of your group. Select the configuration that best fits your meeting or activity when submitting a reservation request.

Full Lecture
Capacity: 50
Additional seating may be available on request.
Features: 75-inch flat-screen TV, A/V equipment and presentation clicker.

Half Lecture
Capacity: 26
Features: 75-inch flat-screen TV, A/V equipment and presentation clicker.

U-Shape
Capacity: 21

Reservations
Reservation requests should be submitted at least two weeks before the requested date. Be sure to include enough time for setup and breakdown when requesting your reservation.
Submitting a request does not guarantee use of a space. Reservations are subject to availability and approval by Student Enrichment Center staff. Requests may only be made for the current semester.

Reservation & Facility Policies
Reservation Requirements
- Reservation requests should be submitted at least two weeks before the requested date. Requests submitted with less notice are not guaranteed consideration.
- Include setup and breakdown time in the requested reservation period.
- Submitting a request does not guarantee use of the space. All reservations are subject to availability and staff approval.
- Reservation status will generally be communicated within five business days. Contact the Student Enrichment Center if you have not received a response after five business days.
- Spaces may not be reserved beyond the current semester.
- Events held during normal operating hours must end at least 30 minutes before the center closes unless other arrangements are approved in advance.
- Reservations may not be transferred to another individual, organization or department.
- Reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walk-In Reservations
Walk-in reservations may be available when a room has not already been reserved. Check with staff at the front desk and be prepared to provide:
- The room you would like to use
- Number of attendees
- Requested meeting time
If the room is available, staff can assist with completing the reservation.
Facility Use
- Dye, glitter and confetti are not permitted.
- Do not use tape, nails or tacks on walls, curtains, ceilings, millwork, stucco or brick. Contact staff if you need to display a banner or sign.
- Smoke machines, sparklers and fireworks are not permitted.
- Smoking is not permitted in the building.
- Do not move lobby furniture or artwork without permission. If permission is granted, these items must be moved by staff.
- A/V support may be available. Ask Student Enrichment Center staff about technology needs when making your reservation.
- The reserving organization or department is responsible for damage caused by its attendees or vendors.
- Additional charges may be assessed when excessive cleanup or repairs are required.
After Your Event
Groups are responsible for returning the space to the condition in which it was found. An event closing checklist may be required. The reserving group may be responsible for costs associated with major damage or excessive cleanup.
Cancellations & No-Shows
Cancellation requests should be emailed to sec@ttu.edu by 5 p.m. at least three business days before the scheduled event.
- Repeated late cancellations may affect an organization's ability to reserve Student Enrichment Center spaces.
- Each group is allowed one cancellation with 24 hours' notice per semester.
- A reservation that is not fulfilled within the first 45 minutes of the scheduled event will be considered a no-show and the space may be released.
- Groups with repeated no-shows may be required to meet with Student Enrichment Center staff before making additional reservations.
Maintaining Reservation Privileges
Groups that repeatedly do not follow reservation or facility requirements may temporarily lose reservation privileges. Concerns may include:
- Repeated late cancellations or failure to use scheduled reservations
- Failure to clean or properly restore a space after use
- Significant damage to the facility, furniture or equipment
- Behavior that disrupts the center or violates facility policies
Student Enrichment Center staff will communicate with the responsible organization or individual when concerns may affect future reservation privileges.
