Nathan is from Breckenridge, Texas, where he grew up working at the family business, Turner Seed from an early age. He has been working with Dr. Cynthia McKenney and her wildflower research for the past three years, and in that time achieved a bachelors degree from Texas Tech in Crop Science. Now he is pursuing a Masters degree in plant breeding from Texas Tech University.
