The Innovative Digital Education Alliance (IDEA) is a consortium of renowned public universities from across the United States, offering online, flexible, and affordable degree and certificate programs across a range of subjects in human sciences and agriculture. Our alliance has impacted over 11,500 students by providing educational freedom beyond what one university can provide.
IDEA is a consortium of 20 renowned public universities from across the United States, offering online courses, certificates, and degrees in agriculture and human sciences. Founded in 2000, IDEAs collaborative approach to sharing resources offers students a unique educational experience where they learn from expert faculty at multiple universities. Each university brings a unique strength in faculty and curriculum to these multi-institution programs. Students choose a home university where they apply, are admitted, register for courses, and receive their degree. Online courses are taught by the best faculty in each discipline from several universities.
As a member of IDEA, Texas Tech University offers a variety of graduate degrees and certificates in the human sciences and agriculture, including a graduate certificate in Horticulture and a master's degree in Agricultural Education.
