Cele Stone, Ph.D.

Cele Stone is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation for Texas Tech University’s Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. With over 20 years of experience bridging gaps between academia and industry, Cele excels at cultivating impactful relationships, building innovation ecosystems, and positioning faculty research for real-world application. She leads collaborative eJorts across the college, mentors entrepreneurs, and connects industry partners to faculty for research commercialization and workforce development. Her strategic leadership has helped generate significant industry support, fostered internships and career pathways for students, and launched initiatives that expand Davis College’s research reach. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Education and Communications from Texas Tech and serves on multiple advisory and professional boards, where she continues to drive meaningful change in agricultural innovation and education.
