Become a Student Ambassador for the Texas Tech Innovation Hub and help shape the future of entrepreneurship within the Texas Tech University System.

About the Program

The Innovation Hub Student Ambassador Program is a prestigious year-long opportunity for students across the Texas Tech University System who are located in Lubbock. Ambassadors serve as dynamic advocates for innovation and entrepreneurship, promoting Innovation Hub programs, events, and resources across the broader student body.

This role is ideal for students who have previously participated in Innovation Hub programming—like Red Raider Startup, iLaunch, or Shark Tank Jr.—and are ready to take their involvement to the next level. Whether tabling at the SUB, speaking in classrooms or student org meetings, or supporting major Hub events, Ambassadors build meaningful connections and create a ripple effect of innovation throughout campus.

What You'll Do

As an Innovation Hub Student Ambassador, you will:

• Represent the Hub in classrooms, student org meetings, and campus-wide outreach
• Assist with major Innovation Hub events like Red Raider Startup, Legacy U, iLaunch, and Shark Tank Jr.
• Share program information with your peers and encourage student participation
• Lead Innovation Hub tours for visitors and prospective students
• Build a visible, positive presence for innovation at Texas Tech

This role focuses on high-impact engagement across campus. presence in student spaces will help expand the reach and reputation of the Innovation Hub.

  Ambassadors receive $150 per semester, for a total of $300 per academic year, based on engagement and participation

Time Commitment

Expect to spend an average of 8–10 hours per month, depending on events and responsibilities. Some months may be lighter, while others may involve more concentrated support.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled at a Texas Tech University System institution and located in Lubbock
• Must be in good academic standing with at least a 3.0 GPA
• Must have attended at least one Innovation Hub program or event
• Strong interest in innovation, entrepreneurship, or leadership
• Availability to support occasional evening or weekend events
