Are you looking for a way to showcase your next groundbreaking idea? Look no further! Join the Texas Tech Innovation Hub for this one-minute pitch video competition that'll launch your journey to entrepreneurship.

The Red Raider Idea Competition encourages participants to think outside the box and share their most innovative ideas for a chance to win up to $2,000 in cash prizes. The ideas with the most go-to-market potential will be enrolled in a video showcase, where participants will vie for public votes. The video with the most votes will win!

This program is open to public. Not affiliated with Texas Tech University? Not a problem, everyone is invited to participate!

How do I apply?

Step one:

Record a 60-second video explaining your idea. Need help? Contact Ryan Bain at ryan.m.bain@ttu.edu to set an appointment or learn more about our resources!

Step two:

Upload your video to YouTube and make sure the video is listed as public. Learn how to upload your 60-second video to YouTube with these instructions.  Important Note: Videos longer than one-minute will be disqualified! Please trim your video to meet the video requirements. 

Step three:

Check back here when applications open to submit your video through our application portal. The application includes your basic information, a one-sentence synopsis of your idea, and your YouTube video link.

Step four:

You will receive an email with a link to the competition voting website after the application deadline. Share it with your friends, family, classmates, and professors to vote on their favorite idea during the voting period!
