Tami Swoboda serves as Senior Vice President of the Community Foundation of West Texas. She has been with the Foundation since 2001 and provides leadership for all aspects of operations with an emphasis on donor engagement, fund management, grant making and community impact activities. Her work focuses on strengthening all aspects of community life with a primary emphasis on creating pathways from poverty and building vibrant rural communities. During her time with the Foundation, charitable assets have grown from $6 million to over $60 million and she has overseen the award of grants and scholarships totaling over $36 million. Prior to her work at the Community Foundation, Tami spent 15 years working in the nonprofit sector in roles related to strategic planning, governance and administration. Tami is a native of West Texas. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family, reading and travelling with her husband Mark.
