The Innovation Hub has been recognized by the International Business Innovation Association for their 2023 Annual Report.
In its 38th year as a globally recognized organization, the International Business Innovation Association (InBIA) congratulated the Texas Tech University Innovation Hub for their work developing the 2023 Annual Report and robust marketing strategy.
On Monday, April 15th, the InBIA conference's attendees, leaders in entrepreneurial education and incubation, gathered in San Antonio to announce the winners of several awards. Among the award winners was Kathryn Dankesreiter, Assistant Director of Public Relations, for the Excellence in Communications award.
The award recognizes an Entrepreneur Support Organization (ESO) that has designed and executed exemplary communications, marketing, and storytelling initiatives. The initiatives include any creative works that highlight the importance and impact of the ESO.
“The award should be dedicated to the entrepreneurs and innovators who allow my team and I to be a part of their journey,” shares Kathryn. “I am honored to amplify the Hub's impact through our annual report and our community's stories.”
Her report highlighted the 2023 Innovation Hub Annual Report's unique design. The report, reminiscent of a scrapbook, shared faculty, alumni, and entrepreneur stories showcasing the importance of commercialization and business formation in West Texas.

A year after the Innovation Hub was awarded the Most Innovative Program award, their success at this year's InBIA Conference continues to illustrate Texas Tech University's dedication to West Texas entrepreneurs and their success.
