Who are the RISE Volunteers?

A RISE Volunteer embodies servant leadership and a passion for educating Texas Tech students on holistic well-being. Our volunteers play a vital role in outreach, programming, events, and administrative tasks, providing crucial support to RISE Peer Educators and staff.

RISE Volunteers understand the significance of empowering Texas Tech students to forge connections and make informed choices for their well-being.

Requirements

  • Commit to a minimum of one office hour per week.
  • Participate in prevention education focus quarters.
  • Complete Mandated Reporter training.
  • Attend a brief RISE training session.
  • Promote respect for all.
