About Me
Kirby is originally from west Texas but took a detour to rural southwestern Colorado before attending Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced rural large-animal medicine for five years after graduation. Kirby can be found cuddling her four-legged children while reading or watching movies or enjoying the outdoors.
Instruction
Kirby teaches first through third year TTU veterinary students clinical and professional skills at Mariposa Station and other assorted lectures. Her teaching focuses on all aspects of food animal medicine and surgery.
Service
Kirby is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, the American Association of Equine Practitioners, and the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association.
