WHAT:
Texas Tech University's School of Veterinary Medicine will host Paws for the Holidays, its second annual community outreach and adoption event.
WHEN:
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 2)
WHERE:
Contagion Athletics, 8210 W Amarillo Blvd Suite A, Amarillo, Texas
EVENT:
The School of Veterinary Medicine invites the community to kick off the holiday season by joining its second annual Paws for the Holidays event. Bring your family, friends and furry companions to enjoy a winter wonderland full of holiday spirit. Adopt a dog, shop for locally made gifts, eat at food trucks and participate in a silent auction.
There are 9 dogs that need forever homes if you're looking for a new addition to the family this holiday season. If not, you can still join the fun during this festive event. There will be crafts and various activities for kids to participate in, such as making ornaments and painting or having their stuffed animal doctored by a future veterinarian.
There will also be a Santa Paws photo opportunity with a professional photographer from 12:30-2:30 p.m. During this time, Santa Claus is available for photos with children and pets.
