The Texas Alliance for Water Conservation (TAWC) knows water management is a timely and increasingly important matter to producers across the South Plains of Texas, especially during the summer growing season. In order to provide information about irrigation strategies and management technology, the TAWC is hosting a series of field walks looking at grain sorghum, corn and cotton.
Sometimes, it's all in the seeds you sow. In this case the seeds come from Texas Tech's International Center for Food Industry Excellence (ICFIE) which has introduced a new program that characterizes their umbrella concept "" SOWER Scholars, or Sustaining our World through Education Research.
