  • Tanya Massey has accepted the position of Senior Managing Director of University Student Housing and will begin on July 15.
  • Brandon Hennington has been promoted to chief data management officer of the newly established Data Management Division of Financial & Business Services.
  • The Student Union Building's food court is undergoing renovations to provide new offerings such as Pizza Hut, Boar's Head Deli and a new grab-and-go retail option. Read more here.
  • Kirk Rodriguez has been named Senior Managing Director over Hospitality Services and Student Union & Activities.
  • There are new Raider Rooms across campus in the Chemistry, Mathematics & Statistics, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering buildings.
  • Facilities Maintenance (FM), formerly Building Maintenance and Construction (BMC), has been realigned to focus on building support and day-to-day preventative and general maintenance.

  • The American Red Cross has recognized University Recreation as a Top Training Provider in the state of Texas because they have trained over 200 participants in CPR/AED/First Aid and Lifeguarding, and they are a gold level learn to swim provider that provides over 1000 swim lessons a year (adult and youth).
  • Special Olympics recognized University Recreation as a national unified champion school: One of four universities recognized in the United States and the only in the state of Texas.

Administration & Finance is home to four divisions and is responsible for providing essential services to the more than 40,000 students and 5,500 faculty and staff on campus.
