Auxiliary Services is a division of Administration & Finance that extends beyond the learning environment of classrooms. We are the Golden Thread which enhances the Red Raider quality of education through student experiences and services. Patrick Albritton is the Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services.

  • University Recreation has been featured as a standout aquatics program in an article by Athletic Business for their unique, outside of the box thinking used to attract students to the aquatics facilities.
  • This summer, the Auxiliary Departments had the honor of hosting student ambassadors from the Musashino Junior Friendship Delegation in Japan for a day in the life of a Red Raider. The student ambassadors explored dorms, dining locations, recreation and more. Thank you, staff members, for opening our doors and providing exemplary service to our friends from Japan!
  • Texas Tech University Hospitality Services was awarded Gold for the Catering Special Event of the Year and Bronze for the Employee Development Program of the Year from the NACUFS Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards! These awards celebrate exemplary menus, presentations, special event planning and new dining concepts at the collegiate level.
  • In partnership with local charities, Texas Tech University Student Housing has donated over 600 mattresses, 106 pallets of donated goods and 8 red carts full of abandoned property to the greater West Texas community this year.
  • Nominated by US Foods, Tyson, and Ecolab, Kirk Rodriguez was honored with the IFMA Silver Plate Award. IFMA recognizes outstanding operators, manufacturers, distributors, and associate partners. A jury of trade press editors and previous award winners weighs the merits of hundreds of candidates before selecting the executives who are honored with the IFMA Silver Plate Award.
  • Stephanie Laughlin was awarded the Bob Cooke Distinguished Service Award, which was designed to recognize service, dedication, and significant contributions to student housing at a specific college or university.
  • Brett Conners was awarded Nancy Murphy Chadwick New Professional of Distinction, which was designed to recognize the outstanding work and impact of a new housing professional who is energetic, innovative, have a positive attitude, and provides motivation to others.
