Why Texas Tech?

I chose Texas Tech University, because my sister was attending school here. With her going to the same school I thought it would make the transition from High School to College much easier. At first I did not know much about the university, but after being here she has taught me the ropes and I have come to love Tech!

Tech Testimony

With Texas Tech offering many majors, it seemed nearly impossible to choose just one major. Eventually with the help from family, friends, and the support from Tech I chose Geoscience with a focus in Geophysics. Choosing this major has made me love Tech even more than I already had. I am constantly reminded of why I choose my major, even the simple things like walking to the Student Union Building to grab lunch and seeing the trace fossils on the wall.

Most Memorable Experience

My most memorable experience would have to be hanging out and getting the best food at tailgates with my friends, then watching the football games with the students of Texas Tech.

Opportunities

Texas Tech offers many opportunities, whether it is religious, non-religious, or finding a group with similar interests. For me personally, I got into a Greek organization.
