DAVIS COLLEGE
Agricultural Policy Advocacy Program

Building the Next Generation of Ag Policy Leaders

The Agricultural Policy Advocacy (APA) program is an innovative new program offered through Davis College designed to prepare students to engage in policy analysis and advocacy. The multi-disciplinary program draws on policy and advocacy expertise from across the Davis College.

The goal is to produce students with excellent disciplinary training who can design, analyze, and advocate for policy change to improve outcomes for agricultural and resource producers, consumers, and businesses. In addition to academic training, the program features a one-year post-graduate fellowship program that places students in key Congressional offices, federal agencies and organizations involved in policy and advocacy related to agricultural policy.
