The Joe and Faye Wise Endowed Scholarship was established by Fay Wise, Mark Wise, Hank Wise and family in 2007. The scholarship is awarded to sophomores, juniors, or seniors majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Preference is given to graduates of high schools located in Coleman County and students of the rural background.

The Paul and Betty Woods Scholarship Endowment was established by Paul and Betty Woods in 2009. The Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources based on financial need.

The A. W. Young Scholarship Endowment Fund was established by various donors in 1975. The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

The W. C. Brigham Young Scholarship was established by the National Farm Life Insurance Company in 1978. The scholarship is awarded to entering freshmen and transfer students to the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources based on high school records, SAT or ACT scores and need.

During June more than 35 high school instructors from across the nation will be on the Texas Tech campus for a special agricultural science education course. The focus is on providing a high-level educational experience to enhance the rigor and relevance of agriculture, food, and natural resources subject matter, say officials of Tech's Department of Agricultural Education and Communications, who are hosting the academic event from June 16-26.
