The SafeRaiders Program

Maintaining a safe learning and research environment for our students, faculty, staff, and visitors in our laboratories, classrooms, and buildings is our top priority.

The Whitacre College of Engineering's SafeRaiders program allows faculty, staff, and students to recognize individuals within the College of Engineering who are practicing safe research and laboratory habits. Nominations are accepted at any time and should emphasize one or more of the following:

• How the "SafeRaider" is doing his or her part to safely advance the college and its research mission.
• How the "SafeRaider" is maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and others.
• How the "SafeRaider" is promoting safe practices and procedures in the laboratory and classroom.

SafeRaiders will be periodically recognized by the dean and are a key component of building a Community of Scholars.
