Melinda Findley Lloyd, Ed.D.

 

Dr. Melinda Findley Lloyd is a communication and education consultant with 28 years of combined communication and education experience.  Melinda worked in educational programming for the National FFA Organization from 1997 to 2004 and then earned her MS in Agriculture Communications in 2005 and her Ed.D. in Agriculture Education in 2007 from Texas Tech University. The Graduate School is proud to have been able to support Dr. Lloyd during her graduate program through the generous support of the AT&T Chancellor's Graduate Fellowship.  

She served as a Presidential Management Fellow with the Small Business Administration in 2007 before opening a consulting practice.  Clients range from national educational nonprofits to government agencies to commodity organizations to large research laboratories.

Current consulting projects include:

  • Scripting and designing in-person events for 15,000+ people
  • Analyzing gaps in existing educational standards
  • Developing dashboards and metrics to track and communicate programmatic achievement
  • Validating the effectiveness of teacher professional development opportunities and classroom resources
  • Training and coaching employees to improved project management and project-related communication
