Transition and Engagement

As the Unit Coordinator for Transition and Engagement, Megan has taken the Transfer Connection program to the next level. She provided the momentum and enthusiasm needed to really gear the services to the needs of transfer students. She has completely redesigned the transfer student orientation experience. She developed the Transfer Ambassador program to assist with one-day transfer orientation; then, she expanded the scope of the Ambassadors to reach out to transfer students prior to their campus arrival. She has reactivated the Transfer Techsan student organization, and developed a monthly Transfer Connection e-newsletter and blog to promote student success after their first year. It is easy to see that Megan has the heart of a true educator, from her positive relationships with the students to the effort she puts into every program she oversees.
