Employee Services Center

The Employee Services Center (ESC) administers faculty and staff benefits, including health, retirement, and other benefit programs.  The team ensures these benefits are delivered accurately, consistently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.  The ESC also manages state service time calculations to maintain accurate records of employee longevity and leave accruals.

Talent Acquisition

Talent Acquisition (TA) serves as a central resource for departments by offering guidance on hiring procedures, ensuring standardized practices, and supporting the operational infrastructure for hiring across the university. The team manages the administrative side of the hiring process, including the applicant tracking system, processing job requisitions, coordinating required approvals, supporting search committees and hiring managers, and maintaining recruitment records.

Compensation and Operations

Compensation and Operations oversees university pay practices and core HR operational processes including salary structures, job classifications, and employee lifecycle transactions to ensure fair compensation, consistent policy application, and efficient service delivery for faculty and staff. Key responsibilities include market benchmarking, maintaining salary grades, reviewing compensation actions, managing job descriptions and position classifications, and supporting hiring, job changes, and employee records in compliance with employment regulations and university policies.

Talent Support

Talent Support (TS) supports a fair, compliant and productive work environment by managing key HR policies, practices, and programs. The team serves as a resource for employees and managers, offering guidance on workplace concerns, performance management, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution. TS also administers ADA accommodations and leave programs by providing clear guidance to employees and supervisors and ensuring requests and processes are handled in compliance with employment regulations and university policies.

Talent Development

Talent Development (TD) supports employee learning, professional growth, and engagement through the design and delivery of university-wide development programs.  The team provides training and development opportunities that help employees build skills, improve job performance, and support career growth. TD also manages new employee orientation and welcome events ensuring, helping new hires learn about university policies, resources, and culture. In addition, the team oversees employee recognition programs that celebrate contributions and achievements.
