As the TLPDC's Executive Director, Suzanne has helped the university through the transition from the old Learning Management System into the current Blackboard platform, the development of captioning procedures for online and supplemental course materials, and the establishment of more regular university-wide development opportunities for academic advisors. In addition, Suzanne is either responsible for or plays a significant role in the organization of events and programs such as New Faculty Orientation, the Advancing Teaching and Learning Conference, the John M. Burns Conference, and the President's Leadership Institute. These events help to ensure standards for excellence among faculty, staff, and graduate student instructors at Texas Tech.
