As a Unit Manager in the Operations Division, Michael has made significant contributions to his department and the people within it. Being a new supervisor within Operations, Michael has won the respect and cooperation from his employees through his leadership and ability to organize and influence them to achieve common goals. He is said to have built an “esprit de corps” among his team. Additionally, Michael has implemented several ideas within Operations and on campus to assist his team of custodians in completing their tasks more effectively and efficiently. These additions mean less time is spent replacing items so his team can spend more time on other parts of campus, resulting in a cleaner and safer campus for all to enjoy. Michael is a great leader with a passion for making the Texas Tech community better.
