Traci Madden has greatly elevated the level of service provided in all aspects of human resource services in the Athletics department. Her guidance, counsel, and meticulous attention to detail with regards to all aspects of hiring and onboarding employees has been invaluable. Most recently, she has independently crafted an Athletics' specific version of New Employee Orientation – which creates a very positive first impression for the various coaches & staff that join the Texas Tech family. This onboarding process is a critical piece ensuring that we are correctly showcasing our culture, mission and expectations. The Athletics specific orientation is focused on developing a deep understanding of the Lubbock and Texas Tech community in a short time frame. Traci was able to coordinate this quickly and efficiently. We constantly receive positive feedback from everyone she works with; praising the new system she has created. She has made the onboarding process and orientation easier to understand, transparent and exciting for everyone involved. We are so excited to continue with the projects she has created and know she will continue creating positive and exciting practices for our staff.
