Morgan contributes to student success at Texas Tech by ensuring family members are connected to the university and are well-versed in the resources Texas Tech has to offer students. She successfully coordinates communications for the family members of students by creating visually impactful and informative newsletters, printed materials, and social media campaigns for Red Raider families. This year, she revamped our newsletter into a sleeker, more attractive communication that reaches over 16,000 families. One of the biggest contributions Morgan has made to supporting the success of Texas Tech this year has been her work related to COVID-19 and the need to shift extremely quickly to a virtual Red Raider Orientation experience for families. While this was a department-wide effort, Morgan was the primary person responsible for creating the Virtual RRO for Families website. This website has been extremely successful in helping the families of new Red Raiders learn about the resources available to support student success and about the ways families can be involved in that success. Outside of her job duties, Morgan has also contributed to Texas Tech's success through her outstanding involvement in Staff Senate. She served as chair of the Staff Senate PR Committee and has received several Staff Senate awards for her service, including Senator of the Year, Unsung Hero, and Committee of the Year. It is clear that Morgan is dedicated to making a positive difference at Texas Tech.
