Pay Positioning Guidelines
The following guidelines are used to determine the appropriate position in the pay range.
Minimum to Midpoint
- New to role
- Novice ability
- Minimally Qualified
- Requires additional instruction to perform role
- May be a lower performer
Midpoint
- Experienced and understands core needs of role
- Intermediate contributor
- Fully qualified
- Requires minor instruction to peform role
- Meeting perfomance expectations
Midpoint to Maximum
- Considered an expert; understand details and nuances of role
- Intermediate contributor
- Promotion-ready
- Mentors less experienced employees
- Exceeding performance expectations
- May have higer qualifications
