Pay Positioning Guidelines

The following guidelines are used to determine the appropriate position in the pay range. 

Minimum to Midpoint

  • New to role
  • Novice ability
  • Minimally Qualified
  • Requires additional instruction to perform role
  • May be a lower performer

Midpoint

  • Experienced and understands core needs of role
  • Intermediate contributor
  • Fully qualified
  • Requires minor instruction to peform role
  • Meeting perfomance expectations

Midpoint to Maximum

  • Considered an expert; understand details and nuances of role
  • Intermediate contributor 
  • Promotion-ready
  • Mentors less experienced employees
  • Exceeding performance expectations
  • May have higer qualifications

Pay Guidelines
