2026-2027 STAAR & EOC Testing Information

Texas Tech K-12 students participating in the tuition-free program are required to participate in applicable state testing. Testing requirements and dates vary based on the student’s grade level and courses.

2026-2027 STAAR & EOC Testing Windows

Fall 2026 EOC Testing

November 30-December 11, 2026

Assessments:

• Algebra I
• English I
• English II
• Biology
• U.S. History

December 11, 2026, is the final day to complete make-up testing.

Spring 2027 STAAR & EOC Testing

Summer 2027 EOC Testing

June 14-25, 2027

Assessments:

• Algebra I
• English I
• English II
• Biology
• U.S. History

June 25, 2027, is the final day to complete make-up testing.

Please note that state testing is mandatory, and attendance is a condition for continued enrollment in our program.

Steps For Parents/Guardians To Take

1. Log in to Focus to review any communication regarding testing dates and locations.
2. Verify that your email address and phone number listed in Focus are current and accurate.
3. If you have not received information about STAAR/EOC testing or have questions, please contact one of our testing coordinators:
