Senwei Liang, Ph.D. Assistant Professor

Dr. Senwei Liang joined Texas Tech University as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2025. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Purdue University in 2022 and was a postdoctoral researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory under the U.S. Department of Energy from 2022 to 2025. His research focuses on integrating advanced AI techniques with numerical algorithms to create scalable mathematical solvers for high-dimensional problems.

Research Interests

Scientific Machine Learning; Numerical Methods for Differential Equations; Machine Learning for PDEs, ODEs, and SDEs; High-Dimensional Scientific Computing.
