Web-Based Component and Accessibility
Asynchronous courses include required web-based instructional components. The Department of Mathematics and Statistics primarily uses WeBWorK, an online homework and assessment system, to support course instruction and evaluation.
At the discretion of the instructor, alternative learning management or assessment platforms (such as Canvas or WebAssign) may be used. In such cases, instructors will provide students with information regarding access and use.
Departmental servers provide access to a broad collection of homework, assessment, and testing materials through course-specific and national problem libraries. These resources are currently available for multiple courses.
Online instructional platforms and course materials are selected and implemented to support accessibility and compliance with applicable university, state, and federal accessibility standards. Students who require accommodations or encounter accessibility barriers should contact Student Disability Services and notify the course instructor as early as possible to ensure timely access.
Additional information regarding the WeBWorK system can be found on the Webwork Wiki Page.
