Rokhlin's skew product theorem proves a surprising result that if an ergodic measure preserving dynamical system X can be quotiented into another measure preserving dynamical system Y, then the dynamics on X can be expressed as a skew product in which the dynamics of Y drives the dynamics restricted to each fiber of the quotient map.  This talk will present a C² version of this result.  Some connections with properties of mixing and spectrum will also be discussed.
