Biography

Dr. Dimitri Volchenkov is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Texas Tech University. His research focuses on stochastic processes, nonlinear dynamics, complex networks, mathematical physics, statistical learning, and mathematical modeling of social and behavioral systems. His recent work includes network dynamics, random walks on graphs, non-ergodic stochastic systems, social conformity, trust, polarization, and data-driven models of complex systems. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and recipient of the International George M. Zaslavsky Award in Nonlinear Science and Complexity.
