Dr. Erhan Guler

Biography

Erhan Guler received his Bachelors degree from Ondokuz Mayis University in 1997, his Masters degree from Gazi University in 2005, and his Ph.D. from Ankara University, Turkey, in 2010 under the supervision of Professor H. Hilmi Hacisalihoglu and Professor Yusuf Yayli. He then spent nine months as a Postdoc at Katholieke Leuven University, Belgium (2011-2012), and two months at Kobe University, Japan, in 2014. He served as a math teacher at various public high schools in Samsun (1998-2002) and Ankara (2002-2013). He later became an assistant professor (2013-2019), then an associate professor (2019-2024), and in 2024, was promoted to full professor at Bartin University, Turkey. Dr. Guler specializes in differential geometry and is currently focused on curvatures, helicoidal, rotational, minimal, maximal, non-orientable, and algebraic hypersurfaces in space forms. Erhan Guler joined Texas Tech University as a Postdoc in fall 2024.
