Biography

Magdalena Toda came to the Texas Tech University in 2001 as an Assistant Professor. Her main research interests are in differential geometry and related integrable systems. She is especially interested in geometric solutions of partial differential equations, in particular non-linear PDEs which arise from integrable systems. Fluid flows, studied from a geometric view point, represent one of her research interests since 2004. Dr. Toda served as Department Chair from March 1, 2016 to June 30, 2025.
