Biography

Lars graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1995 and obtained his Ph.D. from the same institution in 1999. After this he worked in Information Technology as software developer and product manager. In 2004 Lars went to University of Nebraska as visiting professor, and in 2007 he joined Texas Tech University. Lars is the author of more than fifty research articles and two monographs on Gorenstein homological dimensions (2000) and derived category methods in commutative algebra (2024), at Tech he has won awards for both research and teaching.
