About Dr. Mei
Dr. Hongwei Mei obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Wayne State University in August 2016. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida from 2016 to 2017 and at the University of Kansas from 2017 to 2020. Before joining Texas Tech University, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Statistics at Rice University.
Dr. Mei is an applied probabilist whose research interests include stochastic analysis, stochastic control and optimization, and optimal stopping. He has published papers in SICON, SPA, JDE, ESAIM-COCV, and other journals.
