Parking Violation Appeals & Parking Policy Advisory Committee
Charge:
The Parking Violations Appeals and Parking Policy Advisory Committee shall review decisions of the traffic and parking appeals officer when there is a significant dispute over facts or major extenuating circumstances. The committee will also recommend policies relating to parking on university property.
Appointment:
Appointments will be made by the provost. Committee members will be nominated through standard procedures.
Operating Procedures:
Written appeals will be provided to the committee by the traffic and parking appeals officer when there is a significant dispute over facts or major extenuating circumstances. Such appeals shall be heard promptly according to the process defined by the provost. The decision of each sub-committee shall be considered as final.
Chairperson:
Each sub-committee will elect its chairperson from the faculty or staff members.
