Core and Multicultural Submission Information and Timeline
The moratorium on submissions for new courses for the Core Curriculum has been lifted and new proposals are being accepted with the deadlines listed below. Please see the Timeline for Proposal Review for Core Fall 2021 Review Cycle for more information.
September 14, 2021
- New course proposals must be at the Academic Council step. This is because brand new courses being proposed for the Core Curriculum must be approved as new courses prior to their consideration for inclusion in the Core Curriculum.
October 8, 2021
- Proposals must be at the appropriate Core Curriculum step in Curriculog. Proposers should launch their proposals early enough to ensure that the proposals can move through the required steps and still reach the appropriate Core Curriculum area by October 8.
The moratorium on new courses for the Multicultural Curriculum will remain in place for the 2021-22 academic year. The current approved courses will be reviewed by the Core and Multicultural Curriculum Committee to ensure courses are meeting the new Student Learning Outcomes approved by the committee in late 2018.
