Memorandum

It is my pleasure to welcome Holli Ward to the Office of the Provost as executive associate. Supporting me, Mitzi Lauderdale and Cindy Akers, Holli begins her role on May 15, 2023.

I take this opportunity to thank Sharon Pigg for her dedicated service. Her grasp of the complexities of the Office of the Provost and her guidance over the past two years has served to benefit me enormously. Sharon is resigning effective May 31, 2023.

Holli brings extensive experience to the Office of the Provost. Since 2017 she has worked with Texas Tech Administration & Finance in a similar role.

A graduate of Lubbock Christian University, Holli earned a degree in exercise health promotion. She is a veteran of the United States Air Force and spent a decade training executive officers and executive support staff; tracking performance reports and awards for more than 400 personnel; processing security clearances; managing a 16-person department; transcribing medical documentation; scheduling airspace for national and international flying missions.
