Memorandum

Beginning next week, Vice Provosts Genevieve Durham and Cindy Akers will start working directly with deans and department chairs whose programs or courses may be affected by the Chancellor’s memo. Our goal is to implement this process with minimal disruption to faculty instruction and student learning.

As we have always done, instruction should remain neutral. Faculty should teach without compelling students to adopt a particular belief.

Additionally, in accordance with OP 34.16, guests are not permitted in regular class sessions.

Your support will help us uphold compliance with federal, state and System directives while preserving the academic integrity that defines Texas Tech University.
