RE:  Academic Administrative Affairs Units 
 
Following the realignment of the Registrar’s office to the Provost area on April 1, I wanted to make you aware of several other unit transitions in the Academic Administrative Affairs area, led by Vice Provost for Administrative Affairs, Cindy Akers. 
 
The following areas now report through Dr. Akers: 
Academic Program Strategy & Innovation, led by Assistant Vice Provost Rachel Jackson, includes Academic Unit Review and Academic Partnerships


Digital Compliance & Accessibility, led by Senior Managing Director Christiana Christofides, includes the digital accessibility team, and Texas Tech’s compliance around digital accessibility. 


Institutional Effectiveness, led by Assistant Vice Provost Jennifer Hughes. This office has streamlined operations and includes the Planning & Assessment staff and will be known as Institutional Effectiveness. 


Registrar’s Office, led by Registrar Bobbie Brown, including Registrar, Records Processing, Course and Section Inventory, Athletic Certification, administration of Degree Works; and Official Publications


Academic Program Development & Core Curriculum Review, led by Assistant Vice Provost Karen Alexander.
