Vision:
Student Life at Texas Tech University enriches our students experiences through active learning and innovative opportunities. We empower students to become the best version of themselves and to be a positive influence in the world.
Mission:
Student Life challenges, inspires, and supports students through programs, services, and activities that focus on the process of lifelong learning and personal growth. We use collaborative, creative, and intentional approaches to advance our students intellectual, emotional, social, and physical well-being through transformative educational experiences. We strive to create an environment that fosters a sense of community, belonging, and connection as a Red Raider.
Goals:
- Enhance Opportunities for Students that Promote Individual Success – Student Life will focus on developing and improving programs, services, and activities that support overall student success in both on-campus and online environments.
- Offer Programs and Educational Workshops to Support Wellbeing – Student Life will facilitate student wellness programs while delivering services and influencing policies that promote physical, mental, and emotional health, and resilience.
- Build Institutional and Community Relationships and Partnerships – Student Life will work with others to create or enhance programs, services, and activities that positively support students.
- Invest in Professional Staff Development – Student Life will prepare, develop, and support our professional staff so that they can best serve our students and the campus community.
- Share Student Lifes Impact on Students with Stakeholders – Student Life will communicate our efforts to the broader campus community and celebrate our contributions to student success.
