I joined the Laboratory of Plant Breeding and Genetics in Plant and Soil Science Department at Texas Tech University, specializing in plant genetics, breeding, and biotechnology as PhD student. My research is focused on understanding the molecular basis of cold tolerance at early seedling stage of cotton mutants towards application in actual crop improvement.

Previously, I worked as a Project Associate at the Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. This experience broadens my understanding of Plant Breeding and Genetics, deepening my interest in sustainable agriculture.

I have authored peer-reviewed publications and attended national and international trainings, my goal is to use my expertise in plant genetics, to advance crop biotic and abiotic resilience and productivity.
