Sofia Ramirez

Sofia Ramirez is a senior at Texas Tech University, studying in the College of Health and Human Sciences.

She serves as an Ideation Programs Student Assistant, where she supports the Ideation Programs Director with program development, event coordination, logistics, and day-to-day operations. Her role includes assisting with planning and executing events, supporting participants, and helping ensure programs run smoothly. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Sofia plans to pursue a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology. Her long-term goal is to work in global health and help improve community health outcomes on a larger scale.

In her free time, Sofia enjoys relaxing in her hammock, exploring local coffee shops, shopping, and spending time with her cat, Rick. She’s excited to continue growing through her experience at the Innovation Hub and being part of a team that supports innovation and entrepreneurship.
