Nicholas Bergfeld

Nicholas Bergfeld grew up in Lubbock and graduated as the highest-ranking student from the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Tech University. He attended the Yale School of Medicine and Harvard’s School of Government, obtaining a Medical Doctorate and Master of Public Policy, before working in private equity and startup development. After working for an impact investing firm in Singapore, Nicholas returned to Lubbock to work on sustainable economic development policy for Lubbock and the surrounding region. Nicholas is a social advocate and serial entrepreneur, with two companies formed focusing on commercialization university intellectual property.
